Laurie’s New Life
2016 Olympic champ Laurie Hernandez is releasing her autobiography, I Got This: To Gold and Beyond, a HarperCollins book that will be available to purchase on January 24, 2017. In other news, Hernandez keeps advancing on Dancing with the Stars and will soon have her own line of leotards at GK Elite.

Aliya the Bride
The Russian press has reported that veteran champion Aliya Mustafina has gotten married! Her new husband is Alexei Zaitsev, a Russian bobsledder. Congrats, Aliya!

Uchimura Goes Pro
It was recently announced that two-time Olympic all-around champion Kohei Uchimura has gone pro, the first Japanese gymnast ever to do so.

Elite Gym Massilia
The roster has been released for next weekend’s Elite Gym Massilia, a fun competition held annually in France each November. Among the competitors are Russian Olympians Daria Spiridonova and Seda Tutkhalyan, along with USA’s Irina Alexeeva and Australia’s Georgia Godwin. Check out the official website here.
