In case you haven’t heard, American Girl’s Girl of the Year is McKenna Brooks, a fourth grade gymnast! There isn’t anything McKenna loves more than gymnastics, but when injury strikes her love of the sport is tested. McKenna also faces challenges balancing school, friends and her sport, much like many young gymnasts today.
We invite you to join our “Picture Perfect” contest!! Post a picture of yourself or your gymnast striking your best gymnastics pose on our Facebook page! We will then select one winner at the end of each week to receive a Blue-Ray+DVD+ Digital copy of "McKenna Shoots for the Stars." This contest will last for 8 weeks!
McKenna’s story can be discovered through a series of books, and also with the movie “McKenna Shoots for the Stars,” which will be aired on TV this Saturday, July 14 at 8/7 Central on NBC. You won’t want to miss it! Check out the trailer by clicking here!
