Brewster wins in Portugal

Hunter Brewster of Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express, claimed the gold medal in the junior men’s trampoline competition at this weekend’s Loule Cup in Loule, Portugal. Brewster recorded a 54.430 score in the final round to cap off his competition. His three routine score, a 150.515, was nearly two points better than Philip Jackson of Great Britain, who finished second. Vicent Estades of France claimed the bronze medal.

Brewster’s teammate and reigning U.S. senior women’s trampoline champion Savannah Vinsant also of Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express, finished eighth in the final round, recording a total score of 104.250.
