It’s not just about what they’re doing, it’s what they’re wearing while they’re doing it.  Gymnastics is a sport of presentation, beauty and style, so it’s only fitting that the apparel and overall presentation match the occasion.  And with a National Championships, we prefer a style that is elegant, regal, and worthy of the magnitude of the occasion.

The junior women ditched the corn-rowed and over-processed hairstyles of the past for sleek, braids and buns and loose stylish ponytails. A wide range of leotards made it to the competition floor and we preferred the leotards that were simple, elegant, classic and stylish and accentuated the gymnastics rather than distracting.

Our pick for Best Leo of the Day from the junior competition goes to Amanda Huang of Northwind Gymnastics(Georgia).   Wearing a brilliant copper leo from GK with a gorgeous jeweled design that shined but didn’t detract, Huang was picture-perfect and wins our golden award for the day!
