Worlds Conclude As Final 5 Golds Awarded

The 2009 Gymnastics World Championships came to a conclusion today with the final five gold medals awarded in apparatus finals. Event Champions included Deng Linlin (CHN) on beam, home crowd favorite Beth Tweddle (GBR) on floor, Marian Dragulescu (ROM) on vault, WANG Guanyin (CHN) on parallel bars and Zou Kai (CHN) on high bar. China earned six of the ten gold medals on individual events.

American Ivana Hong earned a bronze on beam. Other American finished today included: Rebecca, fifth on floor; Danell Leyva, fourth on high bar; Jonathan Horton, eighth on high bar.
