Getting Meet-ready
I'm also getting ready for my meet this weekend in Oklahoma! If I can clean up my dismounts, then I should have a great meet. I might not compete floor, because my back has been hurting. We will see what's wrong with that and get me back to full strength. I just got my kip to cross pull out on Friday. I was shocked!Read: Getting Meet-ready
Watch Out Winter Cup!
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to stop by Ohio State and watch Blaine, Paul and Morgan workout. It was great to see the guys, as I don’t get the opportunity that often. They were having a practice meet on this day so I had the chance to see them do routines as well.

Happy New Year!
Lots of new news! First of all, my trip to Florida and Alabama was very fun. I enjoyed spending time with my family and our very successful hunting trip. I got to spend a whole week with my dad, so I couldn't have asked for a better start to the new year.
I found out that my friend from my acting school got a screen test for the Nickelodeon part, and I couldn't be happier for him. I did find out, the other day, that the LA agent who came to our acting school for the seminar...WANTS ME IN HIS AGENCY! He is one of the best agents in LA who represents Miley Cyrus, Jessie McCartney, Hayden Panettiere, Cody Linley and many more! I'm so excited. Sometime after the gymnastics season is over, my mom and I will plan a trip to LA to go on auditions.

Olympic Test Event Commentary
So the dust has settled on the Olympic Test Event in Beijing, China and anyone who thought the test event was supposed to be a preview of the gymnastics we are going to see next summer at the Olympics, well, you were sorely disappointed. It looked like the World Championships hang-over was in full effect, and if you weren’t at the World Championships, I’d say it was a contagious hang-over. I don’t want to pile on, but I’m going to pile on. It may have been the worst gymnastics meet I have had the opportunity to attend. In defense of the athletes, it is a very tough time of year. They have just finished the most important World Championships of the quadrennium, and everyone’s minds were focused on next summer. It’s a really tough meet to get up for. On top of that, very few countries sent their best teams, most notably the Chinese and Japanese men.

Merry Christmas!
December 25th
Christmas Day!
It really feels like Christmas now that all of WOGA's college gymnasts are in town. Feels like old times again. To make this Christmas better, we were able to have my dad in from Africa for Christmas! He and my mom got me an iphone, some shirts, and Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. I had a great Christmas! I get a week off of gym, so my dad and I are going hunting in Alabama for a couple days with my family. Then when I get back it will be time to crank it into gear for my next meet on January 24 in Norman Oklahoma.
